Detroit Pistons Fans Are Extremely Mad About Having Jordan Logo On Their Jersey

2 Min Read

Michael Jordan doesn’t stop leaving a mark on the NBA even when he’s not an active player. The Chicago Bulls legend will be present for every NBA team next season, as the league has reached a new agreement with the Jordan Brand.

The brand announced on Tuesday that the iconic Jumpman logo will appear on the right shoulder of the jersey and left leg of the shorts for all NBA “Statement Edition” uniforms in the 2020/21 season. Before this, the Charlotte Hornets –owned by Jordan– were the only team to have Jordan Brand on their uniforms.

The Atlanta Hawks released a video where you can see how the logo will look on their uniform after they announced their kits for the next season.

The Chicago Bulls did the same and people went crazy about it. One of the biggest joys for the Bulls this season.

The Detroit Pistons fans weren’t so happy about this announcement, though. It’s not a secret that there is bad blood between the Pistons and Michael Jordan, which lasts until these days. This obviously was going to piss them off.

The rest of the NBA was quick to react to this and as usual in the NBA world, they made jokes with this announcement, even aiming at LeBron James while mocking the Pistons.

Even after retirement, Jordan keeps winning. The Jordan Brand has supplied the NBA All-Star Game uniforms for the past three years and now things will reach the next level.
