Draymond Green Hilariously Trolls Columnist Who Gets Into Twitter Beef With Montrezl Harrell

Like it or not, the NBA has become a huge part of the fight for racial equality and social justice. Thanks to the players’ recent boycott of the playoff games, and their comments all over Twitter, they have been front and center in the charge for social change and police reform.

Of course, these actions have also drawn a lot of criticism, as there are many who oppose what the league and its players are standing for. One columnist, John Ziegler of Mediate, is seemingly a part of that crowd and made some statements regarding how Doc Rivers reacted to the Jacob Blake shooting.

This Doc Rivers rant would have been awesome if he gave it in Mississippi in like 1960.

Instead he gave it in 2020, when in the off season I know (because I’ve witnessed it) he gets to play whatever fancy, mostly white, private golf course here in LA he wants, surely for free. https://t.co/ZW9tRRR0AN

The comment did not go unnoticed, however, and Clippers big man Montrezl Harrell was quick to call him out.

But this is ok to be said huh? Like are you serious? What does him golfing have to do with what’s going on in the world…… pic.twitter.com/OZEOjdaevp

This was followed by a short back-and-forth between Trez and Mr. Zeigler.

“Ok to be said”?!

You progressives sure are awfully fascist… and dumb.

— John Ziegler (@Zigmanfreud) August 28, 2020

Lmao you a clown man, try to spin shit how you feel, that’s your right. You a racist clown, that’s what you look in morning and see everyday not me…. an I’m not for social media arguing I live in La you live in LA call me dumb to my face!!! 🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️

— َ (@monstatrezz) August 28, 2020

I would be happy to meet you Montrezl. I am not at all what/who you think I am. Please me know how we can arrange it.

— John Ziegler (@Zigmanfreud) August 28, 2020

Warriors star Draymond Green then suddenly came out of nowhere to take a quick mockery of Zeigler and his Tweets…

— Draymond Green (@Money23Green) August 28, 2020

Green was just trolling the man, but it generated a lot of attention and just of reveals how sensitive things are for everyone right now.

Draymond and other stars are not afraid to clap back with folks on social media, and you can bet they will continue to be outspoken all throughout the next few months. It’s unfortunate for Zeigler that he got caught up in it all…
