A Compilation Of Shaq O’Neal Being Sensitive

Shaquille O’Neal has been one of the most famous names in the NBA despite being retired for 10 years now. The 4x NBA champion became an analyst after his career was over and it’s fair to say he hasn’t wasted his time, making hot takes about current players, trying to bring them down.

This practice has been on for a couple of years now but Shaq has taken things to the next level this year, attacking players for their contracts, their style of play, or lack of success. O’Neal has drawn a lot of attention recently and NBA Reddit made sure to find a video where Shaq appears to be sensitive when criticized. This is ironic knowing the way he’s acted with modern-day NBA players.

Back in the day, Shaq always roasted JaVale McGee until the latter had enough of that and called him out on social media.

After the Lakers won the 2020 NBA championship, Shaq attacked some players, with several people thinking he was aiming at Dwight Howard, for celebrating the title more effusively than necessary, according to the big man.

"You know what I don’t like as a player? Its a lot of players on their little instagram bragging like they were the reasons they got the championship. Sit your a** down."

He recently took a shot at Rudy Gobert for his five-year, $200 million extension with the Utah Jazz while also attacking his teammate Donovan Mitchell, telling him to his face he doesn’t have what it takes to win in the NBA.

"If 11 points gets you $200 million, 38 points will get you $600 million, right?"

O’Neal has a long history criticizing centers and this doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. He says he’s still in charge and until another big wins the MVP award, that won’t change. The Big Diesel has been called out plenty of times, even by his teammates on “Inside the NBA” but he’s too confident about his honors, his career and all the things he’s achieved.

For someone who talks a lot about others, Shaq can get sensitive very quickly.
