Klay Thompson Lauds Jordan Poole For Improvement: “Proud Vet Is An Understatement.”

Jordan Poole has been one of the biggest surprises on the Golden State Warriors. The young shooting guard has taken a leap, and he is currently averaging 18.4 PPG, 3.0 RPG, and 3.2 APG. He is clearly a talented player, and many have lauded his handle and shot creation ability.

It is still early in the season, but there have been some suggestions that Jordan Poole could win the Most Improved Player award. There are other deserving candidates for that award, and Poole is far from the favorite. However, his improvement has benefited the Warriors greatly, and we see that from their 15-2 start.

Klay Thompson has recently lauded Jordan Poole for his improvement, recognizing the work that the guard has put in. Thompson even claimed that Poole’s future is “incredibly bright”.

Proud vet is an understatement . I’ve seen this man put in the work everyday for the last few years and his future is incredibly bright ✨ 👌🏽 https://t.co/PDLWQG0lO4

Jordan Poole has been one of the players that have been helping Stephen Curry shoulder the scoring load while Klay Thompson is out. The Warriors as a whole play with different energy compared to last season, and they have looked like the best team in the league thus far.

Klay Thompson is scheduled to return around Christmas time, and the Golden State Warriors will be an even better team with him in the fold. Even if he isn’t exactly the Klay Thompson that we saw a few years ago, he’ll still be a top-tier floor spacer, and can further help the scoring on the team.

The Warriors will hope that Jordan Poole keeps up his performances, and the next step is being consistent. We’ve often seen Poole have a few good games, and then a few bad games. If Jordan Poole can become consistent, the Warriors will be even better on the offensive end.
