The Chicago Bulls were one of the most active teams during this offseason. In an effort to surround Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic with a better supporting cast, the Bulls made some big moves to bring some established stars into the mix.

The Bulls signed Lonzo Ball and DeMar DeRozan in the offseason, solidifying their point guard and small forward position. On top of that, they also signed former NBA champion and solid defender Alex Caruso, bringing in a star who can bolster their defense.

Fans got a chance to see what the new-look Bulls will play like. And needless to say, they didn’t disappoint. The Bulls played against the Cleveland Cavaliers at the United Center in their first preseason game.

The Bulls looked dominant, defeating the Cavaliers 131-95, completing their squad’s first new games with a 36 point blowout. The Bulls’ big four performed very well together.

Zach LaVine had 25 points, DeMar DeRozan had 13 points and 4 assists, Nikola Vucevic came close to a double-double with 10 points and 9 rebounds. As for Lonzo Ball, he had 8 points but played great defense with 3 steals and 2 blocks. Even Alex Caruso contributed with 10 points and a great lob to Zach LaVine.

Chicago has been underwhelming over the last few years and has missed the playoffs for the last 4 years. Their franchise has put in a lot of work in order to build up their team and break their playoff duck.

The Bulls will be slotting Patrick Williams into the starting lineup alongside their stars, making for one of the more underrated starting 5s in the NBA today. The Bulls will be exciting to watch next season, as they look to improve their fortunes.
