Be it real life or NBA 2K, the Brooklyn Nets are one of the most decorated teams in the world right now. The trio of James Harden, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving joined forces in hopes of delivering an NBA Championship to the city of Brooklyn.

Due to injury troubles and a few chemistry issues initially, the team failed to achieve this dream last season. In the 2021-22 NBA season, they will most likely redeem themselves and have a fabulous season as expected from them.

Anyway, coming back to NBA 2K22, the game dropped on September 10, 2021, and for the first time in a few years fans actually loved the game. Although there are a few ifs and buts regarding the ratings of the players, Nets fans won’t have any complaints.

In the new game, 16 players have received a rating of 90 or better and out of the 16, three don the Brooklyn Nets jersey. Furthermore, the Nets are the only team in the entire game that has three players that are rated above 90. KD, Irving, and Harden have ratings of 96, 94, and 91 respectively.

So if you are an NBA 2K fan, get ready to face this team a lot when playing with your friends. The team that comes closest to them are the Los Angeles Lakers with Anthony Davis and LeBron James, who are rated 93 & 96.

Both teams are not the only two of the highest-rated teams in the game but are believed to be the potential matchup of the 2022 NBA Finals.

While the Nets have players that are in the prime of their careers and can be devastating on any given night, the Lakers have assembled a lot of veteran leadership and playoff experience.

Last season both teams failed to make it to the NBA Finals, but this time around most sports pundits are certain that won’t be the case.

As for us, the fans, it will be quite interesting to see how the new season pans out and if the two squads can reach the finals or not. Which teams do you think will feature in the 2022 NBA Finals?
