Klay Thompson is known around the league for multiple things. For starters, people acknowledge his work as one of the best perimeters defenders in the world. Also, they laud him as one of the greatest pure shooters of all time, but more than that, people talk about how much of an easy-going guy he is.
Apparently, however, that hasn’t always been the case with him. Back when he was in high school, he had a bit of a temper, according to his own words during an Instagram Live session.
The Splash Brother revealed how he almost stabbed someone when he played hockey in high school. As per usual, with a big smile on his face:
“During high school, I played junior hockey and still hold two league records: most time spent in a penalty box; and I was the only guy to ever take off his skate try and stab somebody,” Thompson confessed.

Besides basketball and hockey, Thompson also stood up in baseball, so it was pretty clear that he was going to make it as an athlete eventually.
We’re just glad that he didn’t stab anybody and went to prison, as the league would’ve never gotten to see one of the best shooters to ever grace the Earth.
Now, the Golden State Warriors will hope Thompson will be able to manage his temper and stay on the court when he makes his long-awaited comeback after two years on the sidelines.
Thompson will be a key factor in the Warriors’ title hopes after two years of not even making the playoffs. Gladly, basketball isn’t played on skates and there aren’t any sharp objects on the court either.
