Jrue Holiday Praises Kevin Durant: “He’s Unreal.”

Kevin Durant is one of the best players in the league, and there’s no doubt that he is a generational talent. His ability to create his own shot from any spot on the court is insane, and we witnessed his ability to carry a team with his scoring during the playoffs when he took the Milwaukee Bucks to 7 games despite injuries to both of his co-stars, Kyrie Irving and James Harden.

Jrue Holiday talked about Kevin Durant on a recent episode of The Old Man and the Three podcast and lauded his unique talent. Jrue Holiday spent some time guarding Kevin Durant during the Milwaukee Bucks’ series against the Nets and he was teammates with him during the Olympics, so he has seen Durant’s play fairly frequently over the last few months.

Oh my gosh! He’s unreal. He makes the game look so easy, nothing phases him how he plays. Yes, he’s 7ft, but it’s like he doesn’t see anybody. It’s just like him and the hoop, it’s like cone drills. If you’re just gonna go workout, get into your bag and work on something like that’s his game and nobody phases him, it’s amazing to see.

There’s no doubt that Kevin Durant makes shot creation look very easy. His height and length allow him to get his shot even against the best defenders. He’s an extremely skilled scorer, and quite possibly the best scorer in the league. While he didn’t end up winning the championship this season with the Brooklyn Nets, he did end up leading Team USA to yet another gold in the Olympics.

Kevin Durant will be in his prime for quite a while longer, and based on this season, it looks as though he’s barely lost a step even with an Achilles injury. Perhaps next season, we’ll be able to see Kevin Durant get further in the playoffs and potentially win it all.
