Karl-Anthony Towns is locked in on helping the next generation of basketball stars by using the bullying method that seems to have been handed down through generations of NBA stars. He kept blocking every single attempt from young kids to try and score on him, just to let them know that nothing comes easy in this life.

Josh Hart, his Knicks teammate, saw this viral video clip on social media and hilariously joked about Towns.

“This guy is awful! Would hate to have him on my team,” said Hart on X.

NBA fans were shocked to see that Karl-Anthony Towns could block these young kids so easily. They also pulled his leg over how defense is his weakness during an NBA game, but with young kids, he’s locked in on defense.

What makes the NBA the greatest basketball league in the world is that almost every player is extremely skilled and has an obsession with winning through the competitive spirit. Time and again, we have seen basketball players display that competitive spirit by teaching young kids at basketball camps the value of working hard on their craft.

From Dwight Howard to Jayson Tatum, James Harden, Caitlin Clark, and many other basketball stars, almost every basketball player now seems to want to teach the young generation the value of hard work like this, by essentially testing their confidence and resolve early.

Only Giannis Antetokounmpo is one basketball star I can recall who let a young kid score on him intentionally to let him boost his confidence.

Karl-Anthony Towns Responds To Josh Hart

Towns saw Hart’s message on social media and diverted the fans’ attention towards Hart’s fondness for breast milk.

“This u?” wrote Towns with a picture of Hart eating breast milk-flavored ice cream.

“And after all that, ima bring you some,” responded Hart hilariously.

Earlier last season, Josh Hart came under public scrutiny, especially from his teammates Jalen Brunson and Towns, for publicly saying he likes breast milk. He doubled down on his claims and posted a video of himself visiting a local store that sells breast milk-flavored ice cream.

One of the best ways to build chemistry in a team is to be friendly and honest with one another as teammates. The Thunder used their “power of friendship” to win an NBA championship last season. Meanwhile, the Knicks fell short in the Eastern Conference Finals and have the potential to compete for a championship in the 2025-26 season.

The chemistry and bonding between the Knicks’ roster currently should be an exciting prospect for their fans to hope they replicate the Thunder’s success.
