LeBron James has been busy this week, but not for usual reasons. Most fans expected James to be in the NBA Finals at this time of the year. But after exiting in the first round, James has shifted his focus temporarily on the biggest game of his career – teaming up with the Looney Tunes to take on the Goon Squad in ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’. And as he made his appearance at the World Premiere, he got to meet a man who captured James’ probable reaction to the Brooklyn super-team in the best way.

That man is none other than Mark Phillips, better known as SupremeDreams on social media. Phillips posted a video on social media early in the season, where he portrayed LeBron James reacting to the news of James Harden joining Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Phillips (as James) shouted in the video “I’M 36! I’M NOT THANOS!”. The video went viral, with James himself reacting with his amusement.

IM 36!!!!! IM 36!!!! STOP THROWING THE BALL šŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ’€ https://t.co/KkU32nQVKU

James met and greeted Phillips at the red carpet premiere of ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy. He and Phillips shared pleasantries, and he even introduced him to his wife. James earnestly told Phillips “You Had Me F**king Crying Bro!”. James clearly embraced the viral video and the joke behind it. For fans of James and of Phillips, this was a wonderful moment to see, as Phillips’ meme is one of the best the basketball world has seen in recent memory.

For James, all the pomp and circumstance of his new movie will keep him busy for a little while. But as soon as all of this is done, he’ll go right back to work with the Lakers. This season was snake-bitten for the Lakers, as both James and Davis suffered major injuries, and they ended up collapsing in the first round. But with almost five months to prepare for the new season, James and the Lakers will be a force next season.
