LeBron James On Who Will Win The NBA Finals: “I Would Give The Slighter Edge To Phoenix Because They’re Just More Healthy.”

Against all odds, the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks made it to the NBA Finals, overcoming adversity and proving that small-market teams are as good as the usual candidates.

This series looks like a bit of a toss-up right now, with the Suns leading 2-1 but both teams playing at an elite level.

That’s why not even LeBron James could give any of those teams a clear edge. But, if he had to choose, he’d say that the Suns should be favored just because they’re healthier at this point:

“Lot of emotion, lot of jitters, lot of sleepless nights. I’m excited for my dear friend, my good friend, my brother Chris Paul, his 1st finals appearance in 16 years. It’s gonna be fun for the city of Phoenix, and the city of Milwaukee, and in the end for basketball fans all over. But I would give the slighter edge to Phoenix because they’re just more healthy,” LeBron told ABC, as quoted by Essentially Sports.

The Bucks are without Donte DiVincenzo and Giannis Antetokounmpo is coming off a knee injury, albeit he’s still playing like the superstar he is.

As for the Suns, they’re missing a key rotation piece in Dario Saric but Deandre Ayton has done an outstanding job of staying out of foul trouble and dominating inside the paint.

Whatever is the case, we can be sure that this series won’t end in 5 games and that it will go down to the wire. Both teams are playing at their best and this will be an unpredictable series, that’s for sure.
