The Dallas Mavericks have found their new head coach a couple of days after parting with Rick Carlisle. Mark Cuban and the front office instantly got to work after the 61-year-old decided he won’t continue with the team.

They are making big moves now, hiring Los Angeles Lakers assistant coach Jason Kidd as their new trainer. Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that the team is hiring the former point guard.

The Dallas Mavericks have agreements to hire Hall of Famer Jason Kidd as their new head coach and longtime Nike executive Nico Harrison in a lead basketball operations role, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

The Mavs have tried to compete in the Western Conference, unable to get past the first round of the playoffs in the past couple of seasons.

Luka Doncic will enter his 4th season in the league, hoping to get a fresh start after reports suggested he didn’t have the best relationship with Rick Carlisle. The Texans are ready to make noise in the conference and they’re making the right steps.
