In a 2020 Western Semi-Finals rematch, the new and improved Clippers faced off against a Denver team missing its second-best player.

Despite those facts, however, it was the Nuggets who got the win, with a final score of 110-104. After the game, ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins took to Twitter, where he called out Paul George (who went 5/21) for his lackluster performance.

Paul George talking about MFs go pay! Here it is tonight on a Prime Time game against a team that knocked them out of the playoffs last season he goes 5/21 from the field while Jokic with no Murray gave them that work…finishing with 30-14-7 with the W!!! Carry the hell on…

No matter how PG may have done tonight, he has actually been doing pretty well this season, averaging 23.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.3 assists on 47.5% shooting.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter much what George does in the regular season anymore. As far as the fans and media are concerned, it’s what he does in the playoffs that really counts. Can he lead the Clippers to a Finals berth? Can he help them make history?

Over the next few weeks and months, that’s what people will be looking out for, including Perkins.
