Former NBA Player Kendall Gill Wants To Fight Jake Paul Next

Jake Paul recorded another win in his young boxing career when he beat MMA star Ben Askren on Saturday night. The fight lasted only one round, with Paul taking care of business, knocking out the veteran opponent, who isn’t known for being a striker in the UFC and ONE Championship.

After he won another match, Paul revealed he has some rivals in mind but a former NBA player has been challenging to a fight and this could be the best moment for that. Kendall Gill spent 15 years in the association, playing with the Charlotte Hornets, having stints with the SuperSonics, Nets, Heat, Timberwolves, Bulls, and Bucks, too. Following his retirement from the association, Gill became a boxer, winning 4 fights with no losses.

He once again challenged Paul to a fight after he finished the job with Askren. This is the second time Gill attempts to get the attention of Paul, as he did the same in December.

“It’s been four months. I’ve been in training camp every day,” Paul said on Triller following the fight. “I deserved that s—. This is the craziest moment of my life.

“I told y’all I was going to do it in the first round. I told y’all I’m a real fighter. I don’t know how many times I’ve got to prove myself this is for real.”

Gill was a very tough fighter, contrary to what he used to show on the court. He’s now trying to fight Paul and teach him a lesson. Back in December, the influencer defeated Nate Robinson via KO, too, so he could have another chance to beat a former baller in the ring.

Paul expressed his desire to fight LeBron James in a big-money fight but the King isn’t entertaining that. It seems like he will have to settle with other figures like Gill, who can be a very entertaining rival for him.
