Chicago Bulls star Zach LaVine has defended the biggest legend in the history of the team, Michael Jordan when MJ was mocked for his tenure in the Washington Wizards. LaVine is part of the Bulls now and he’s made it clear that he wants to leave his mark on the team’s history, just like MJ did during the 90s.

When ESPN shared a pic of Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen with the Wizards and Portland Trail Blazers, respectively, comparing them to Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr., LaVine came to Jordan’s defense, reminding everybody that the GOAT was still a bad man at the age of 40, posting some good numbers when most players aren’t even part of the league or are waving towers for his teammates.

MJ was still a bad mf! He put up 20+ at 40. Don’t downplay that…

— Zach LaVine (@ZachLaVine) November 29, 2020

This is actually true. MJ averaged above 20.0 points in both his seasons in D.C. after retiring for the second time in 1998, following the Bulls’ second three-peat in eight years. Zach is now trying to make the Bulls a competitive team again but things don’t look that favorable for them. They’re still rebuilding, trying to assemble a team full of talents to emulate what Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman and others did during their best years.

LaVine is ready to become an idol in Chicago and even off the court he’s doing the right things to earn the love of the people of Chicago.
