LeBron James and Kevin Durant are two of the biggest rivals in the NBA. These two players have gone against each other in several occasions, especially in the Finals, with KD winning the personal duel against Bron. They share a lot of similarities and have earned a lot of criticism from fans, who don’t hesitate to roast them every time they have the chance.
Well, they also have made some questionable statements regarding their NBA titles that raised a lot of eyebrows in the league. Both LeBron’s move to the Miami Heat and Kevin Durant’s to the Golden State Warriors were heavily criticized around the league but the players always try to play them down. However, they can get a little exaggerated and make claims that absolutely nobody but them believes.
They are very talented, no doubt about it, but Durant and James have made two of the most questionable statements in the NBA in recent years.
“This is the hardest road to winning a championship,” KD said in 2016 after he joined the Golden State Warriors from the Oklahoma City Thunder in one of the most controversial moves in recent years.
However, LeBron would make another bold statement one year later when he assured he hadn’t played with a superteam, totally ignoring the fact that he created a Big 3 in Miami and had one in the Cleveland Cavaliers, too.
“I don’t believe I have ever played for a super team,” James said three years ago.

These remarks are questionable, to say the least, and we’re pretty sure these players were aware that that was false. He joined and created super teams to win, something that earned him a lot of hate from the rest of the NBA.
