We all know Reggie Miller and Michael Jordan were fierce rivals; we are know Reggie was a threat with the ball in his hands and MJ was a defensive beast. However, when these two clashed, MJ often took the victory. Their most memorable duel took place in 1998 when the Pacers took the Chicago Bulls to a seventh game in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Bulls were looking to three-peat once again and the Pacers were trying to ruin their plans.

Well, MJ told otherwise, lifting his team over Indiana and taking them to the 1998 NBA Finals. In the final game of the series, MJ showed up, as usual, and got to work against Miller, who was in his prime. That didn’t make much difference for Jordan, who did everything to stop the legendary sharpshooter. On Redditor called “BlockOfTheYear” shared a video where MJ’s off-ball defense held Miller to 0 points in the 4th quarter of Game 7, helping the Bulls clinch their ticket to the Finals.

“BlockOfTheYear” added that finished the game with 28/9/8 while holding Reggie Miller to 17 ppg in this series. That’s what you call impacting the game on both ends of the ball. The Bulls would win their sixth title in eight years, three-peating for the second time and making it clear that they were the best team in the world.

We all know what happened after that but the moments they lived were great. Jordan put up a show against Miller and handed the W to his team.
