Lakers Fans Are Uniting To Get Danny Green Kicked Out Of The Bubble

1 Min Read

When Danny Green signed a two-year, $30 million contract with the Lakers in 2019, it was a huge game-changer. Coming off his Championship with the Raptors, Green was, at the time, one of the best 3-and-D guards in the league.

Unfortunately, a major shooting slump has turned his present situation sour. Following a missed three down the stretch of Game 5, Green was the target of hate and criticism by much of the Lakers community.

Today, they went so far as to (jokingly) try to get him expelled from the bubble.

Clearly, Lakers fans have had enough. Even for as great a player as Green is, this slump has been something awful and it has been hurting the team. In Game 5, the Lakers guard scored 8 points on just 37% shooting.

Needless to say, it’s about time he started getting his act together. The Lakers will need more from him if they want to close this series out on Sunday.
