Allen Iverson has expressed his desire to see Giannis Antetokounmpo wearing a new uniform in the NBA after a complex postseason with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Giannis was great during the regular season, even making all the merits to win his back-to-back MVP award but once he made it to the postseason, things fell apart for Giannis and his Bucks, suffering a painful loss in the second round at the hands of the Miami Heat.

After that, plenty of people have tried to guess and say what they want to happen with Giannis and his future in the league. Iverson is not the exception and he recently made it clear that he wants Antetokounmpo to join none others than the Golden State Warriors, the team that ruled the league for the last five years.

Giannis and the Warriors have been linked for several months now and seeing the current situation of the team, many believe it’s only a matter of time before we see the 26-year-old playing in the Bay.

During a recent appearance on ‘All the Smoke’ podcast, The Answer was asked about his favorite player he’d love to play with right now, with Iverson saying Giannis (1:41:40 mark).

Stephen Jackson mentioned that Antetokounmpo should join the Warriors and AI was feeling that.

“That’s where I want him to go — Golden State!”

As Matt Barnes disagreed with the other two, Iverson continued with his answer, making it clear that he’d love to see Giannis wearing a Warriors uniform.

“Yes. Yes. I would love him to go there. That’s where I want him to go. I want him to go to Golden State, man,” Iverson said.

There have been a lot of rumors about Giannis and his future in recent weeks. He has made it clear that he wants to compete for the title and the team seems committed to pleasing him; however, if they fail to win next year, the idea of Giannis leaving Wisconsin will be extremely likely.
