UFC star Colby Covington isn’t holding anything back and he’s once again attacked Los Angeles Lakers star, LeBron James. After an easy win on Saturday night, Covington sent a strong message to LeBron James, calling him a ‘woke athlete’ and a ‘spineless coward’, raising a lot of eyebrows.
“Ladies and gentlemen, the silent majority is ready to make some noise. If you thought that was a beating, wait ’till November 3 when Donald Trump gets his hands on sleepy Joe. That’s gonna be a landslide. I want to dedicate this fight to all the first responders, all the military out there. This world would not be safe without you guys, you keep us safe, and not these woke athletes. I’m sick of these spineless cowards like LeBron James,” Covington said on Saturday night.
Well, Covington is a fan of controversy and he lives for that.
“Anybody can talk from outside but if they got into the ring or got into the arena, probably 10 times out of 10, they’d s—- their pants,” James said following the Lakers’ Game 2 win against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night.
Even after LeBron hit back at critics, the fighter hasn’t stopped, attacking the King once again, claiming he wouldn’t last 10 seconds in the cage with Colby.
“LOL at the snowflakes that believe @KingJames could even last 10 seconds with me! If that coward had the balls or the ability to kick anyone’s ass, Delonte West would’ve lost his teeth long before his meth habit!” Covington wrote on Twitter on Monday night.

It looks like this won’t be the last time we hear about this, especially now that the election day is getting closer. Covington is an avid Donald Trump supporter, the complete opposite of LeBron James and that will always be a controversial topic for both athletes.
Still, it looks like Covington reached some levels that he wasn’t supposed to reach, and who knows, perhaps he is actually trying to get in a physical altercation with the 3x NBA champion.
