The Miami Heat have put together one of the most respectable and well-rounded teams in the NBA in almost no time. They bounced back from their post-LeBron James struggles In a timely manner and it feels like it’s just a matter of time before they’re back to the NBA Finals.

Even so, it feels like this young team could still use another proven veteran to help Jimmy Butler carry the way. And, according to Jimmy Buckets himself, that second star is already on his way:

“The organization is really good at getting what they want to win a championship. It’s gonna happen,” Butler told ESPN.

Butler knows first-handed how persuasive can Pat Riley be once he sets his mind in something. The Heat have become a respectable organization and the team has a bright future ahead. Also, they’re one of the most attractive markets in the nation, so it wouldn’t be crazy to think that Butler is right.

Miami has made Giannis Antetokounmpo their biggest priority for the upcoming season but even if they strike out on the Greek Freak, they still have enough assets to put together an appealing trade offer to land another All-Star.

The Heat is currently one of the biggest threats out of the Eastern Conference. Coach Erik Spoelstra is great at making adjustments and the team’s defense is great. They also have enough depth to make some noise and even make it to the Finals.

Then again, even great things can be better, so we know Riley isn’t going to be satisfied until he brings even more star power to South Beach.
