2 Min Read

As we get closer to the return of the NBA, the debates and conversations are more focused on matters currently happening in the league. All that GOAT debate between Michael Jordan, LeBron James and whoever you like to add in the conversation is practically gone as everybody is getting ready to see the 2019/20 NBA season resuming.

Now is time to talk about the best players in the league at this moment, and ESPN’s show ‘First Take’ got to work and ranked the 10 best players in the association right now. They started with Nikola Jokic on the 10th and finished with LeBron James first. Take a look at the full list:

10. Nikola Jokic

9. Damian Lillard

8. Luka Doncic

7. Anthony Davis

6. James Harden

5. Stephen Curry

4. Kawhi Leonard

3. Kevin Durant

2. Giannis Antetokounmpo

1. LeBron James

“King James has scored the third-most points in NBA history and is also the only player to rank in the top 10 in both career points and assists. The 3-time NBA champion has been selected to 16 straight NBA All-Star games, just behind Lakers legend Kobe Bryant’s record of 18 consecutive selections. Players No. 1, Lakers forward, LeBron James,” they said when revealing Bron was their number one pick for the list.

Some may agree or disagree with this, but at age 35, during his 17th season in the league, it’s hard to find a player better than LeBron on earth. Yes, Giannis has done the right things to earn the MVP award once again this season, but James remains atop when it comes to the best player in the world.

These lists are always controversial, but this time the critics and disagreement might come with the players that follow the King.
