Metta World Peace has to be one of the most controversial players in the history of the league, earning that ‘honor’ throughout a 17-year career that saw him starred in some of the most unfortunate moments in recent times.
MWP was known for being a very good defender and he had the chance to go against very good ballers in his nearly 20 years of career. The former Pacer and Laker had the chance to reveal the 10 players he had to guard during his career, and it’s fair to say the list is pretty tough.
Metta took to Twitter to post a video amid the coronavirus crisis, naming some unknown players as well as the best of the best in the game.

As you can see, he didn’t pick only NBA players, but ballers that could give him trouble at any time. Metta actually named some players from his hometown, although he didn’t reveal the actual name of ‘Strip’ and ‘DP from NYC’.
The guy had plenty of time to play against these men and he admitted that some of the NYC icons would be a problem for him, even during his best days. World Peace had a good NBA career, winning titles and playing alongside very good players.
However, his antics on and off the pitch got more attention than his professional accolades. Still, it’s good to know who were the best players to dominate one of the best on-ball defenders in the league while active.
