LeBron James’ Reacts To Incredible Stat Of His 50-Point Games Going Viral

LeBron James had quite a simple reaction upon seeing a statistic from his career go viral on Instagram.

LeBron James saw a post from Bleacher Report about him go viral on X. The post noted that LeBron James had more 50-point games in his NBA career with 14 than he did single-digit games in his career with 8. James just reshared the post and added a bunch of laughing emojis, which is perhaps the only response one can have to such a ludicrous stat.

This statistic truly goes to show not just the longevity of James’ career, but his level of sustained excellence. For James to have one of the longest careers in NBA history, having played close to 1500 games (1492 to be precise), and only put up single digits in the scoring column for 8 of those games is borderline inhuman.

James has had what many consider the greatest career in NBA history. Having played for 21 seasons, and showing no signs of slowing down, James is set to enter yet another NBA season as one of the best players in the entire league.

It is fair to say that no player has had the longevity of James, not just from the standpoint of time played, but also the sustained quality he has played throughout his career. With James turning 40 this December, he has the chance to tie Dwyane Wade and Dirk Nowitzki as the oldest players to be named All-Stars in NBA history.

What makes this achievement even more impressive is the fact that Nowitzki and Wade were selected as All-Stars in their final NBA seasons as a ceremonial gesture, rather than for their performance that year, as both players were calling time on their respective careers at the end of the season.

What Will LeBron James’ Legacy Be?

LeBron James recently spoke about what he wants his legacy to be when all is said and done. He noted that he doesn’t want to just be remembered for his time as a basketball player, but also for the kind of person and family man he has been, and the philanthropic causes he has pursued during his lifetime.

In the same interview, James also spoke about his excitement for the upcoming NBA season, and the chance to share the court with his son Bronny, whom the Lakers selected in the second round of this year’s NBA Draft.

For James, this upcoming season will be special, as he and Bronny will become the only father-son duo in NBA history to play together. James has always maintained his desire to play with his son, so for him to get to achieve this goal will be special for all fans in the NBA.

But the goal for the Lakers will be to try and win an NBA championship. The Lakers are far from one of the best teams in the Western Conference. However, with LeBron James and Anthony Davis, two of the best players in the NBA, they will always have a chance to shock teams and make a deep run in the playoffs.
