Dan Bilzerian has called out Jimmy Butler after the Miami Heat star doubled his money at a poker table and then decided to leave. Butler’s departure did not sit well with Bilzerian, who was hoping for more action from the NBA player.

“That basketball player wanted to leave so bad once he doubled up. He was ready to hit the f***ing door… That was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen, that guy sat there for 2 hours and watched poker… A f***ing baby.”

During a high-stakes poker game at Hustlers Casino, which featured other big names like Neymar Jr., Ryan Garcia, and various celebrities, Butler managed to quadruple his money in a short span. Despite his impressive win, Butler opted to walk away from the table, a decision that prompted Bilzerian to criticize him publicly.

Bilzerian, a seasoned poker player and social media personality, expressed his frustration during the live broadcast, saying that Butler was eager to leave as soon as he made his big win. This sentiment was echoed on social media, where clips of the incident quickly went viral.

The poker event was meant to be a star-studded affair, with Butler engaging in a notable $174,000 pot against Neymar Jr.

The two athletes had been taunting each other throughout the game, with Butler ultimately securing the win. Following his victory, Butler chose to take a cautious approach, opting to safeguard his winnings rather than continue playing high-risk hands.

Bilzerian’s discontent was clear, as he felt Butler’s departure was premature and deprived the game of further excitement. Bilzerian even went as far as to mock Butler for leaving early, suggesting that the NBA star’s decision was influenced more by caution than the spirit of competition.

However, Butler’s strategy was rational from a financial perspective. He reportedly won over $123,000 and decided to share some of his winnings with other players and fans who were present, showcasing his generous side.

His decision to leave after securing a substantial amount was a calculated move to ensure his gains were preserved.

Earlier in the game, Butler and Bilzerian had a heated exchange over a hand.

Butler was dealt double aces, the best hand in poker, and he was vocally dissatisfied, claiming he didn’t like double aces. Seizing the moment, Bilzerian humorously offered to buy the hand from Butler for $10,000, leading to a back-and-forth. Butler ultimately decided to hold on to the hand and ended up winning over $61,000 on that round.

While Bilzerian may have been disappointed, Butler’s actions highlight a prudent approach to gambling, balancing the thrill of the game with the wisdom of knowing when to walk away. This incident underscores the different perspectives on what constitutes a successful night at the poker table, with Butler prioritizing financial security over continuous play.

Ryan Garcia Forgets Which Team Jimmy Butler Plays For

During a high-profile poker game featuring sports stars like Jimmy Butler, Neymar, and Chris Eubank Jr., boxer Ryan Garcia drew attention with his erratic behavior and apparent lack of knowledge about Butler’s current NBA team.

The event, held at Hustler Casino, was meant to be a relaxing and entertaining gathering. However, Garcia’s actions quickly became the focal point. The 25-year-old boxer, recently banned from boxing for a year due to failed pre-fight drug tests, appeared overly animated.

He consumed an alcoholic beverage, engaged in shadow boxing, and loudly declared his uniqueness, all while making exaggerated gestures at the table.

A particularly awkward moment occurred when Garcia and Butler had a brief conversation. Garcia complimented Butler on his time with the Chicago Bulls, to which Butler acknowledged positively.

Ryan Garcia: you were cold on the Bulls

Jimmy Butler: appreciate it, that was some good years

Ryan Garcia: which team you play for now ??

However, Garcia then asked which team Butler currently plays for, revealing his lack of awareness. Butler, surprised, informed him that he plays for the Miami Heat. Garcia then realized his mistake and expressed regret for asking.

This interaction highlighted Garcia’s unfamiliarity with one of the NBA’s prominent players. Butler has been with the Miami Heat since 2019, leading the team to the NBA Finals in 2020 and 2023, establishing himself as one of the top players in the league.

Despite Butler’s success at the table, his interaction with Garcia added a layer of awkwardness. Garcia’s behavior, from his erratic actions to his failure to remember Butler’s team, painted a picture of a young athlete struggling to maintain composure in a high-profile setting.

Garcia’s recent troubles, including a suspension for a PED violation and a recent arrest for felony vandalism, might have contributed to his behavior. His actions at the poker table served as a reminder of the personal challenges he faces outside the ring.

Overall, while the poker event was a chance for sports stars to unwind and have fun, Garcia’s antics and his lack of knowledge about Jimmy Butler’s current team underscored the importance of staying informed and composed, especially when in the company of other high-profile athletes.
