“We had the same exact dream and we carry the same exact name. Dwyane Tyrone Wade,” Wade said. “To know we hustled all the way, to the Basketball Hall Of Fame, is God’s will. 

“So Pops, I know your knees are a little sore but will you join me on stage as we take our rightful step, into basketball heaven? This one is for my father. I love you, and I’m thankful for you. We in the Hall Of Fame, dawg.”

Dwyane Wade Jr. is the second of two children born to Dwyane Wade Sr. and his ex-wife JoLinda Wade. Dwyane Wade spent the majority of his life with his father, and that’s where his basketball dream began. For the two to share this incredible moment together on the biggest moment is nothing short of iconic.
