  • Two young players appeared to kiss during a wild dunk sequence
  • It was similar to what happened between Tristan Thompson and David West during the 2017 NBA Finals
  • Guess, there’s no love lost during sport

In a video that’s doing the rounds on social media, two young basketball players appear to kiss as one of them leaped up for a dunk, and the other was millimeters close to block him.

It ended with the ball swishing into the net, and the players, after the quick smack just got back into basketball action.

Jokes apart, the two players are at the receiving end of the trolls, but it’s perfectly okay to collide sometimes, and in this case, it just so happened that their faces practically collided providing the impression of a kiss.

This isn’t the first time that players appear to have accidentally kissed each other. Remember David West and Tristan Thompson during Game 5 of the 2017 NBA Finals?

Did David West And Tristan Thompson Kiss During Game 5 Of The 2017 NBA Finals?

To answer that question, that’s exactly what it looked like when David West and Tristan Thompson went at it during Game 5 of an intense 2017 NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

It all happened when Irving missed a layup and West caught it on the rebound. Irving went directly back at him trying to take the ball back and that’s when West lost his cool.

Thompson got involved directly seconds later, and he and West went face-to-face until they were both slapped with technicals and pulled aside by their respective teammates and referees. As far as the series goes, the Warriors won the NBA Finals beating the Cavaliers 4-1.

But in all that melee, it sure looked like West and Thompson were… kissing? You can have a look at the whole incident below:

We didn’t see that Celine Dion song coming in either… but such is the nature of sport and close encounters do indeed happen.

Guess ball is love, ball is life.
