  • Stephen Curry thinks Klay Thompson has the prettiest jumper
  • Curry believes kids should study Thompson’s shooting form
  • Steph thinks every angle in Klay’s jump shot is perfect and in line

Klay Thompson is one of the best shooters of all time. Evidently, Thompson has a great jump shot and phenomenal shooting form.

We’re not saying this, his teammate and other half of the Splash Brothers, Stephen Curry, said this in a recent appearance on ‘Hot Ones.’ Curry went as far as saying that kids should study his shooting form because it’s as textbook as it gets.

“I’d say his is more repeatable for the average person,” Curry said. “What I mean by that is it’s more kind of uniform from the ground up. You get your balance from the feet and then your power from the base and you work your way up from there.

“So, he has like the most stacked kind of form. Like everything’s in line, all of his angles are right. And like if I was gonna take somebody who’s never shot a ball before and put a ball in your hand I would put you in Klay Thompson’s positions.”

Curry wasn’t done. He then claimed that Klay Thompson’s jump shot is the prettiest one he has ever seen.

“Everybody shoots differently,” Curry added. “Like all the greatest shooters in the league, we all have different releases of different forms, but Klay’s is the one that if you just took a snapshot, it’s just right here, it’s just extreme, it’s pretty. I call it the prettiest jump shot I’ve ever seen.”

Stephen Curry may be regarded as the greatest shooter of all time, but Klay Thompson is an elite shooter as well. There have been times when Thompson has overshadowed Curry during games.

Thompson currently holds the record for most three-pointers in a single game with 14. Klay also holds the record for most points in a game without making a single two-pointer. Thompson scored 42 points vs. the Rockets in 2023, where he drained 12 shots from beyond the three-point line.

Gilbert Arenas Says Klay Thompson Is The Most Dangerous Player In The NBA When Hot

Klay Thompson can get as lethal as a player can get when he’s hot. There are several examples of it, including Thompson’s 60-point game in three quarters vs. the Indiana Pacers.

Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas recently shared his thoughts on Klay Thompson. Arenas believes there’s no player more dangerous than Thompson when he’s hot.

“When hot, I pick Klay. Out of the three, it’s hard to control his hot because he doesn’t need the ball. He scored 60-something points with just 11 dribbles. When he gets hot, he’s more dangerous because he’s moving. It’s hard to double someone who is coming off screens.”

As Arenas mentioned, Thompson scored 60 points in a game with just 11 dribbles. Thompson has created several breathtaking records over the years, but can he continue playing at that level in the 2023-24 NBA season? After all, he is 33 years old now.
