LeBron James and Michael Jordan are not considered the greatest players of all time but also two of the best in-game dunkers.
James was recently ridiculed by NBA fans for fumbling a wide-open fastbreak dunk in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets. Many fans claimed that Jordan had never fumbled a dunk like LeBron. But an NBA fan on Twitter proved the claims wrong with a short clip from the Chicago Bulls vs. Los Angeles Lakers game from 1992.

Other fans on Twitter had various reactions to the video. After all, it seems unimaginable to see MJ fumble a wide-open dunk.
A fan declared the video was generated with artificial intelligence.
Ai generated video

The video proves that even the great Michael Jordan can make mistakes. But it was only a small spot in an otherwise perfect performance. In the game, Jordan recorded 54 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 blocks. Although MJ was simply phenomenal. the Bulls still ended up losing the game 118-120 in overtime.
Fumbling a dunk is a rare sight for someone like Michael Jordan. After all, usually, when Jordan missed dunks, it was in an explosive manner.
The above-attached clip is proof that even ‘His Airness’ is human and couldn’t finish all the dunks that he attempted during games.
LeBron James On Fumbling The Wide-Open Dunk
LeBron James is usually the best player on the court. He had a decent Game 2 but made some unforced errors.
After the game, James was asked about his thoughts on the horrible miss. The King didn’t make any excuses and took accountability for his mistake.
“Obviously, it sucks that ball squirted out of my hand like that, maybe it hit my knee or whatever,” James told reporters after the loss. “Unforced turnover by myself. Horrible, especially on the road.”
LeBron had 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 10 assists in the game. So, it was still a good performance by the King, just not at the level that fans have gotten used to. Hopefully, he will bounce back in Game 3 of the series and help the Lakers win.
