NBA Fans Find Old Tweets Of Jarred Vanderbilt Being A LeBron James Superfan

Jarred Vanderbilt used to be a LeBron James superfan for years before he joined the Lakers, as fans went digging on his Twitter.

Jarred Vanderbilt is definitely happy to be a member of the Los Angeles Lakers after a tough season and a half.

Vanderbilt is now learning from and playing alongside LeBron James, a player that he has openly called the greatest of all time before. Eagle-eyed Laker fans went through Vando’s Twitter and realized he has always been a LeBron superfan.

With Austin Reaves on the team as someone who actively mocked LeBron when he was younger, it’s funny to see LeBron have a supporter in his ranks like Vanderbilt. Given how Vanderbilt has been traded twice in the last season, he’ll hope to make the Lakers his long-term destination. As long as LeBron is there, he’ll be happy to play alongside the man he thinks is the GOAT.

The Lakers Managed To Fix Their Roster And Push For The Playoffs

Prior to the trade deadline, the Lakers were not looking ready to even make the play-in tournament, let alone push for the 6th seed. One trade changed the course of their season and they’ll hope that D’Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley, and Vanderbilt can be weapons that come up big in their quest to salvage this season.

The Lakers are currently the 11th seed in a Western Conference where one win or loss can send teams falling 4 seeds to climbing 4 seeds. Even though LeBron hasn’t returned from injury, the Lakers have a good enough roster to make the play-in even with James out. We know LeBron will return before the season ends, so at least he can help them pick up crucial wins in April.

Vanderbilt has been a tremendous addition defensively and will be motivated to play hard when James is next to him. We saw how Vando defended Luka Doncic while on the court with LeBron before he got injured, so he’ll just try and tap into that sentiment and push for wins.
