The GOAT debate between LeBron James and Michael Jordan is one of the hottest topics among the fans.

Evidently, even former NBA players talk about who is the GOAT between LeBron James and Michael Jordan with great interest. Former NBA player Channing Frye recently gave his opinion on who the GOAT is between the two legends of basketball.

“When I say Jordan and Bron are 1A and 1B, if you can’t agree with me on that, then you just don’t like LeBron,” Frye said. “That’s just it. How are you the greatest if you aren’t number one at anything? But Jordan is number one all-time at career average scoring. If you’re not top five at multiple things, how are you the greatest at something? You may have been the best at what you did, but how are you the greatest?”

Frye spoke about James and Jordan being tied for the title of GOAT. He also gave a refreshing take on the biggest difference between the two.

You gotta respect the s**t out of what Jordan did. He put the NBA on his back,” Frye praised Mike. “Everyone is always baby Jordan, Grant Hill’s the next Jordan, Kobe is the next Jordan, or now it’s like Jayson Tatum is the next Kobe, or Kyrie is the next Kobe. But who is the next LeBron? That doesn’t exist because it can’t exist. Because he is in a stratosphere all by himself. He is a sun while other people are planets or meteorites that rotate around something”

Frye has declared that there will never be another player like LeBron James in the NBA, but does that make James the GOAT? Let’s find out.

Who Is The GOAT Between LeBron James And Michael Jordan?

There are many theories about who the GOAT is between MJ and LBJ, but at the end of the day, what they have achieved in the league is one of the primary ways to compare them.

When we compare the full careers between Jordan and James, the former came out on top of the latter. Additionally, even in terms of winning more accolades in the NBA, Jordan easily surpasses James.

Keeping these things in mind, when we talk about the all-time GOAT pyramid, Michael Jordan easily triumphs over the King. It could change in the future, but this is how things stand right now.
