The Chicago Bulls and the Phoenix Suns are both teams that could end up making trades ahead of this year’s trade deadline. Both teams have clear issues that they need to fix on their roster, and it is easy to see them making moves to address their problems.

A recent report from Matt Moore of Action Network has revealed that the two teams have actually discussed a trade with one another. The trade would feature the Bulls sending guard Coby White to the Suns in exchange for wing Jae Crowder.

The Bulls and Suns have had conversations about a deal involving Coby White for Jae Crowder in recent weeks, but no real traction is thought to be present.

Though there is no “real traction” on the deal as of right now, talks could easily reignite in the future. A lot of situations in the NBA are fluid, and perhaps this trade scenario is something the Suns and Bulls could revisit if they don’t find better deals for Coby White and Jae Crowder ahead of the trade deadline.

The Miami Heat Are Also A Suitor For Jae Crowder

Jae Crowder is a solid 3 and D player when he is at his best, and a lot of teams have already been linked with him. In fact, it was previously reported that the Miami Heat have a “standing offer” to the Phoenix Suns for the forward’s services.

They have a standing offer to the Suns, as I understand it. Phoenix wants to bring things closer to the deadline, to see if someone gets desperate, to see if they could do better or get Miami to add a pick.

There is no doubt that Jae Crowder could end up being a useful player for the Miami Heat. They could use his skill set on both ends of the floor, and his spacing could definitely help open up their offense. He knows the Miami Heat system as well since he was part of the team during their 2020 NBA Finals run.

As of right now, though, Jae Crowder remains on the Phoenix Suns. That will likely change ahead of the trade deadline, though, as he and the franchise have a fractured relationship as of right now.

Hopefully, we see Jae Crowder end up in a destination where he can be at his best. That may well end up being the Miami Heat, and we’ll see what ends up happening in the future.
