The Los Angeles Lakers recently faced off against the Memphis Grizzlies, with the final score being 122-121 in the Lakers’ favor. Russell Westbrook notably had a fantastic performance, with him putting up 29 points and 6 assists for the team. Superstar LeBron James put up 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists as well.

After the game, a lot of fans reacted to the contest. The game went down to the last second, with the Lakers snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. Brandon Clarke ended up going 1 for 2 at the end of the game from the FT line, and that concluded the matchup after Dennis Schroder got the Lakers up by 2 after his and 1 play.

#LAKERSWIN

We Move

I can’t keep doing this. I can’t. My heart hurting

The Lakers are officially back. Wait will AD and Reaves come back. Lakers clearly proved they are the best team in the NBA. NOT ONE TEAM COMES CLOSE TO THE TALENT WE HAVE. WE OWN EVERY TEAM. League is terrified off us. They know LeBron coming for his ring this year. We run this

WE STOLE THAT GAME

this team stays surprising me, in both good and bad ways!!!

Lakers in 5.

THAT ONE WAS FOR YOU @SHANNONSHARPE

Y’all are going to start paying for my medical bills. You’ve raised my blood pressure so high this season

All NBA fans rooting for the Lakers only tonight because we all don’t like the Grizzlies because they talk to much.

GIVE RUSS HIS CT HE HAS BEEN GREAT LATELY!

Love the camaraderie between the players and Memphis giving Schröder props and respect.

I don’t see any Memphis players talking trash right now, do you?

That was a great win. Stopping the Grizzles win streak at 11.

I predict the Lakers run the table beginning…now

This win is definitely a cause for optimism for the Los Angeles Lakers. They beat a really good contending team, and perhaps they can carry that momentum into a winning streak.

The Los Angeles Lakers Might Not Make A Win-Now Move Before The End Of The Season

Even though there is a realistic chance that the Los Angeles Lakers will make the playoffs, the team’s front office has not made a win-now move thus far. In fact, a previous report revealed that Jeanie Buss has directed the front office to “not sell out the future” in any trade ahead of the deadline.

“They have come this far without trading the two picks (in 2027 and 2029) away, and it is going to be very hard to move Russell Westbrook without putting one of those picks into the deal. You’ve got a lot of the organization saying, ‘We should trade picks and win now,’ but some in the organization are saying, ‘Do not sell out the future.’ And Jeanie Buss is with the second group, and that is what matters most.”

It remains to be seen how well the Los Angeles Lakers do for the rest of the season. They could definitely make some noise if Anthony Davis is healthy, and it has recently been reported that he could return to the team in a week.

LeBron James has been crucial in ensuring that the Los Angeles Lakers stay afloat while Anthony Davis has been out. Hopefully, we see him continue to dominate, and if the Lakers make the playoffs, they could be a dangerous lower seed.
