Joakim Noah and Tom Thibodeau have a great relationship after being together on the Chicago Bulls for so many years. The center and head coach were ready to help Derrick Rose take the team to the promised land but we all know how things ended up for that incredible team.

After parting ways in the late 2010s, Noah and Thibodeau remained close, but there’s something about the head coach that hasn’t sat well with the Frenchman. Noah has been retired since March 2021 but he still has some unfinished business in the league, and not precisely with long-term nemesis LeBron James or the city of Cleveland.

As Thibs talked with reporters at a press conference, his old player crashed it to ask a very important question. Thibodeau is attending Derrick Rose’s wedding, which has become a problem for Noah.

Joakim Noah Wanted To Ask A Serious Question During Tom Thibodeau’s Press Conference

As the press conference was ending, the Frenchman made an appearance to surprise his former head coach.

“I have a question!” Noah said. “So, are you going to go to Derrick (Rose)’s wedding and you’re not going to come to mine?”

This question made everybody in the room laugh, including Thibs, who couldn’t believe what was happening. The veteran head coach couldn’t find an answer to that and quickly shut it down.

“Next question.”

Following this exchange, they embraced each other, putting this very short-lived feud to rest. These two were meant to achieve big things in Chicago, but their star dealt with so many injuries that derailed his career, leaving the Bulls hopeless when they looked ready to relive old glories.

Now, Thibs is trying to create a winning team in New York, but the Knicks are struggling to become a serious contender. He’s been rumored to be on the hot seat, but right now nothing is official.
