As two of the best basketball players ever, it is every fan’s dream to see LeBron James and Michael Jordan take the court together.
Unfortunately, it won’t be happening anytime soon, given the age gap between the two superstars. But it doesn’t mean the scenario hasn’t already happened before.
According to James himself, he and MJ actually did link on one occasion and apparently went undefeated in their time together.
Here’s James on Uninterrupted, where he explained his on-court experience with His Airness:
“That’s Michael Jordan’s camp in Santa Barbara. We were on the same team then. I was a rookie in the league and I went to Santa Barbara, to MJ’s camp, and we used to play around 9:00 pm, the camp would end. He would let the kids watch the first game around like 8:30 and then he had all the kids leave and then we would stay along with the college kids that he would invite to the games as well. We would get a good run-in for about an hour, hour-fifteen. So, yeah, I was on a team with MJ and we didn’t lose a game.”

The photo James is referring to here dates back to his rookie season, when he showed up at one of Jordan’s camps in California. The two played together for a while, apparently went undefeated, and finally discovered what it was like to hoop with the GOAT.
In the years that have followed, very few moments of them together were caught on camera, which left many people wondering what such a duo might look like on the floor. Just based on their skill level alone, we can guess they’d be pretty hard to beat.
Thanks to LeBron, now we know (kind of) — and if he and MJ went undefeated while he was still a rookie, one could only imagine their potential together with both of them in their prime.
