From 2015 to 2018, the NBA became a little too predictable. Each season, fans saw the Golden State Warriors compete in the NBA Finals from the Western Conference. On the other hand, from the Eastern Conference, the Cleveland Cavaliers advanced to the NBA Finals four straight times.
Obviously, it meant that either of the two teams was lifting the Larry O’Brien trophy. After four years of dominance between the two teams. NBA fans witnessed a different champion in the 2019 NBA Finals.
Since then, each season, a different team has won the NBA Finals. The 2020 NBA champions were the Los Angeles Lakers, the Milwaukee Bucks won it in the 2021 NBA Finals, and the Golden State Warriors won it most recently in the 2022 NBA Finals.

Taking a look at the comments, most fans believe that the 2019 Raptors are probably the luckiest team to win the NBA title, among the other options.
They faced the Warriors, who lost Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson in crucial games of the series. As a result, it became pretty easy for them to defeat the depleted Warriors. If the Raptors had defeated a healthy Warriors, the fans’ opinion would have been completely different.
