The NBA offseason is the best opportunity for players to polish their talents and become a better version of themselves. We’ve seen many stars taking the challenge of playing in Pro-Am leagues, while others linked up with more icons to hit the gym and work on their weaknesses.

Sometimes, players get so caught up in the grind that they forget about everything else. This has happened before, and this year must be one of the most shocking. New Orleans Pelicans star Brandon Ingram has been in the lab since last season finished, trying to take his game to the next level and become the best partner for Zion Williamson and CJ McCollum in New Orleans.

Amid rumors linking him in a move to the Brooklyn Nets for Kevin Durant, Ingram has been working on his game, even forgetting about his looks. A new picture surfaced recently showing Ingram with a prominent beard and afro hair, showing that he’s focused on nothing else than the game.

As usual, NBA fans had a couple of things to say about this, joking about Ingram’s looks, and finding a lot of similarities while others said this is a good sign for him and his team.

The New Orleans Pelicans surprised everybody last season, making it to the 2022 playoffs and taking the Phoenix Suns to six games in the first round. With the return of Zion Williamson, the Pels are ready to have a good season. With Ingram improving his talents, things are going to look even better for them.

He’s been compared to Kevin Durant in recent times, and this could be the season where he finally matches KD’s performances. It won’t be easy, but you can assume this man has been putting in the work and now wants to dominate the competition.
