Tyrese Haliburton developed a personal relationship with Kevin Durant and LeBron James during the 2024 Paris Olympics. Yet, the humble Pacers star stayed in line when asked about their personal lives.

Haliburton made an appearance on the latest episode of Logan Paul’s podcast ‘Impaulsive’ with Mike Majlak. He was initially talking about his relationship with Kevin Durant, what he feels about his move to the Rockets, and when Durant visited him in Indiana during the WNBA All-Star game. Haliburton then moved on to talk about how Durant is personally.

“You know he’s with Drake at all times… The episode he did with you guys and Speed was some funny sh**… And that’s just KD. He’ just like so dry, like the driest person ever.”

“I text him and I use emojis, and I’m just like ‘Why am I using emojis?’ because he won’t even hit me with an LOL… I get nothing. He will just say something, and I read it in his voice, and I’m just like, yeah, he thinks that’s funny.”

Then Majlak surprised Haliburton with the question about when he thinks Durant will settle down. Haliburton initially hesitated to say anything.

“I don’t know, bro… I haven’t spent enough time around him, and I don’t see it.”

Although recent rumors suggested that Durant could be dating the former WNBA star, Liz Cambage, no sources have confirmed those rumors so far. In his own appearance on the podcast with Logan Paul, Durant admitted that he does not want a girlfriend. Therefore, Haliburton took the safe route with this response.

Later in the podcast, Majlak brought up the beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake.

“I’m a Drake guy for life, for always….. I wouldn’t call myself a stan, but I’m a big Drake fan,” said Haliburton in response. But when he asked him what he felt about LeBron James’ role in this beef, Haliburton smoothly dodged the question again.

“I have no comment, I have no comment,” said Haliburton with his hands raised as if he wanted nothing to do with that discussion.

James came under fire from Drake’s fans after he was seen vibing to Kendrick Lamar’s music on two separate occasions. During the Olympics, as well as during his vacation this season.

Earlier in the season, it was reported that Drake covered his tattoo of LeBron James with a tattoo of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander instead. While the two superstars have not made a comment about this in public other than Drake’s veiled diss in a song, fans are assuming that James picked Lamar’s side in the beef, and that began the entire spiral. Even when reports claimed that James enjoys Drake’s music equally.
