Bones Hyland is one of the best young combo guards in the league, and he has shown a lot of good flashes during his rookie season with the Denver Nuggets. There is no doubt that Bones Hyland clearly made the best of the opportunity that he was given.
There have been a lot of players that have shown up at pro-am tournaments across the country this summer, and it seems as though Bones Hyland is one of them. Unfortunately, his outing wasn’t all positive, as former Nuggets player Brandon Goodwin threw a punch at him during an altercation.

It is clear that the situation was stopped from escalating as the two were separated before they could really get into a fight with one another. Hopefully, we will see some sort of full resolution or update on this situation in the future.
Hopefully, we see Bones Hyland show some improvement in his game next season and develop into a solid sixth man for the Denver Nuggets. He definitely has some scoring and shot creation ability, and his development will be crucial for the Denver Nuggets’ contention window. Perhaps one day, he could even become the starting shooting guard next to Jamal Murray due to his talent and ability.
The Denver Nuggets will be contenders next season, with Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. returning from injury. They have made it to the Western Conference Finals during Nikola Jokic’s tenure with the franchise already, and the next step for them will be making it to the NBA Finals and potentially winning a championship. There’s no question that they have the talent to be a top-tier team for the next few years, but we’ll see if they are able to translate all that talent into winning games and potentially even going all the way.
