When Stephen Curry was drafted to the NBA back in 2009, no one expected him to become the mega superstar that he has become today. After all, Steph was a skinny point guard who was prone to several injuries.
But what a breathtaking journey Steph has had in the NBA over the last 13 years. He has added yet another jewel to his crown by winning the fourth NBA title of his career tonight.
After two very underwhelming seasons, Curry and the Warriors have made an amazing comeback and have been crowned the champions of the NBA for the 4th time since 2015.
To make things even better for Curry, he finally won the first NBA Finals MVP of his career too. Keeping that in mind, winning this year has also improved his case for being one of the best ever players to play the game of basketball.
During the 2022 NBA Finals, many fans debated that if Curry ends up winning this year’s ring, he will probably edge towards the 10th spot in the list of top 10 players of all-time. But at the time, it was only a hypothetical debate.

Curry is over Lebron all time now, Lebron had the big 3 and so did curry, and now he’s proven he can do it without KD, plus he’s 4-2 instead of 4-6. Lebron < Curry

When will y’all stop with this
He is the greatest PG of all-time, of course he’s top 10

His numbers make him an NBA all-time great, but his influence on the way the game is now played makes him a BASKETBALL legend. I’m not sure where that places him all-time, but it’s gotta be rarified air. Many guys have great numbers. Not too many can say they changed the game.

Yes. Goat shooter, no one even a close second. 4 rings 2 Mvps. Only 6 players in history have done that. No one's shorter than 6'6 on this list except Steph. Pound for pound the greatest. Undisputed.

Looking at Steph’s resume, it is abundantly clear that he is one of the best players to ever play in the NBA. So at this point, if Steph isn’t in someone’s top 10 list, they are probably just his haters.
Moreover, Curry is still far from retiring so he has a chance to further improve his resume and make a case to further climb the ladder on the list.
