Stephen Curry is one of the most electrifying superstars in the NBA. Not many expected the 34-year-old to have the impact on the league that he had when he was drafted into the NBA.

During his initial days in the league, Steph wasn’t even expected to become a superstar in the league. For starters, he didn’t have a huge structure to begin with, and later on he struggled with a plethora of injuries.

But Curry overcame all those obstacles and established himself as a phenomenal player in the league. So much so that Steph changed the way that teams approached the game in the modern-day NBA.

Moreover, in his career Curry has won almost every accolade there is. Unfortunately, one trophy that Steph is yet to get his hands on is the NBA Finals MVP award. Despite winning three NBA Championships in his career, Steph has never won the aforementioned award.

As a result, most people believe the lack of this trophy is somewhat holding Curry to crack into the list of the top 10 all-time players in the NBA. Well, Steph has a chance of winning a Finals MVP soon as the Warriors have qualified for the NBA Finals sixth time in the last eight years.

True or False:

But will winning these two awards ensure Curry’s entry to the list of top-10 players of all-time? Well, here’s what NBA fans from all around the globe have to say about this:

Lebron
MJ
Kareem
Magic
Bird
Shaq
Wilt
Bill Russell
Duncan
Kobe

Are top 10 no matter what Steph does this year

Warriors will win that championship in G5-6. Whether their lineup or experience or coaching or prep time, they're so much better than Boston. pic.twitter.com/FVTDjOEKRB

False. Never one of the greatest. Wouldnt have had a chance with the true legends of the past. The NBA of today is just no proper defense, just let them shoot from anywhere and he happens to be a great shooter. Thats all. Never a

Idk if he has enough to pass kobe or duncan or bill russell ect so no but barely.

He would have an, all nba, asmvp(i dont think this has too much value but ive seen it used in other players best years) ,wcfmvp, fmvp, finals won year the same year as breaking all time 3pt record, which could go down as one of the great single season accolades lists despite no

Can't quite go there.
(No particular order)

Untouchable tier:

Second tier:
Kobe

Maybe he can slide in at 10. But doing so would mean putting him above all below

Shaq
Hakeem

KD

An argument can be made but I'd take Shaq

Fans made their case for both sides but the majority still believe that Steph won’t enter the top 10 all-time list regardless of whether he wins this year’s title and Final MVP or not.

While Curry is unarguably one of the greatest players of all-time, but it seems like Steph needs to wait a little bit more before being considered as part of the 10 greatest players in NBA history.
