When asked to name the hardest player to guard, Orlando Magic swingman Cole Anthony did not hesitate to give his answer.

Out of all the players he has encountered, Anthony picked Kyrie Irving as his toughest opponent, reflecting on the time he dropped 60 on his team.

“Oh man, I’m gonna definitely have to say Kyrie Irving. He actually scored 60 points on us…”

In a league full of amazing and effective scorers, Kyrie Irving may be the best of them all. He’s got some of the best ball-handling skills the game has ever seen and can score in a multitude of different ways.

In his career so far, Uncle Drew has more than proven himself as an elite superstar with 7 All-Star appearances, 3 All-NBA selections, and an NBA championship. In fact, when you consider all that Kyrie has done, it’s impossible not to consider him one of the very best scorers in basketball history.

Easily one of the greatest ball-handlers and offensive point guards of all time, Kyrie Irving has been on the Brooklyn Nets roster for three seasons so far. An elite shooter and scorer, the point guard, is also one of the most exciting players to watch. In his first season with the Nets, Kyrie only played 20 games but averaged 27.4 PPG on 47.8% shooting from the field and 39.4% from three.

The following year, Kyrie barely played yet again and appeared in 54 games with an average of 26.9 PPG on 50.6% from the field, 40.2% from three, and 92.2% from the stripe.

Irving felt the heat this year as a result of the COVID-19 controversy. Refusing the vaccine kept him out for most of the season, and the Nets were unable to recover from his extended absence.

Still, his talents on offense cannot be denied, and Cole Anthony is just one of many who would agree.
