Adam Sandler On 2022 Finals: “The Celtics Are F**king Tough.”

With things all tied up a 1-1, it’s anyone’s series in these NBA Finals. As for legendary actor/comedian Adam Sandler, he’s just enjoying the show.

In a sit down with Kevin Garnett on Showtime’s ‘KG Certified,’ Sandler spoke about the Finals and the two teams competing to win it all.

As experienced as the Warriors are, they aren’t underestimating the challenge before them. The current Celtics are dominant on both ends of the floor and play with a certain strength that helped them beat some of the East’s most elite teams.

While Steph Curry and his teammate feel good about winning the series, they know more than anyone what it will take to come out on top.

“[They] got some guys playing at a really high level, very well-rounded team, they got the size,” Curry said. “We like the matchup in terms of confidence going in, knowing we can win, but there’s obvious respect in terms of what they present as a team. Tatum and [Jaylen] Brown are the heads of the snake, Marcus Smart does what he does, you got some vets, Al Horford who has been in the league a long time and in his first Finals appearance so I’m sure they’re motivated just like we are and we’re excited to get things going.” (h/t NBC Sports)

What makes the Celtics different from other teams is that they can win on the road. They aren’t afraid of taking care of business off of their home floor and have already stolen home-court advantage from the Warriors.

Nobody knows how things will play out from here, not even Sandler. But he speaks for all of us fans when he described the two teams remaining. They are both great and more than deserving of a championship.
