Kyrie Irving Had A Hilarious Reaction To Hecklers On The Sideline: “Celtics Fans Gonna Be The Reason Nets Win This Series.”

Kyrie Irving had an outstanding performance against the Boston Celtics in his latest game, getting 39 points against their top-rated defense. Despite his scoring explosion, the Brooklyn Nets ended up losing due to a buzzer-beater layup by Jayson Tatum.

During the game, Kyrie Irving was involved in a few altercations with Boston Celtics fans. One of those altercations featured him having a hilarious reaction to hecklers calling him “Cryrie” on the sidelines, with him mockingly pretending to cry. Instagram page Sideline Sources also pointed out that right after that happened, Kyrie Irving responded by getting some buckets for his team. A lot of NBA fans commented on Kyrie Irving’s reaction, with some of them finding the situation hilarious.

This is far from the only incident that happened during the game between Kyrie Irving and Celtics fans. Kyrie Irving also flashed his middle finger at the Celtics fans during the game. After the game, Irving explained why he did that, claiming that he was simply giving the Celtics fans the “same energy” they were giving him.

Where I’m from, I’m used to all these antics, people being close nearby. It’s nothing new when I come into this building, what it’s going to be like. But it’s the same energy they have for me, and I’m going to have the same energy for them. It’s not every fan, I don’t want to attack every fan, every Boston fan. When people start yelling p***y and b***h and f*** you… there’s only so much you can take as a competitior.

We’re the ones expected to be docile, and be humble, and take the humble approach. Nah, f**k that, it’s the playoffs. This is what it is. I know what to expect in here, and that’s the same energy I’m giving back to them… I’m not really focused on it, it’s fun… All is fair in competition. So if somebody is going to call me out on my name, I’m going to look at them straight in the eye and see if they’re really about it. Most of the time they’re not.

This first-round matchup seems like it could be a long and heated series. That is not only due to the prowess of both teams on the court but also due to this underlying hostility between Kyrie Irving and the Celtics.

Hopefully, we see Kyrie Irving and the Nets bounce back and potentially win a game on the road. The Nets will be looking to upset the Celtics, and Kyrie Irving will be crucial to potentially making that happen.
