PJ Washington Called Kevin Durant ‘Too Small’ After Hitting A Tough Shot Against Him

Kevin Durant is one of the most interesting players in the NBA to watch. Despite being nearly 7 feet tall, Durant moves with the agility of a guard, and is almost automatic from anywhere and everywhere on the court. Durant is one of the biggest players in the NBA, but PJ Washington clearly doesn’t think so.

During the Charlotte Hornets game against the Brooklyn Nets, Hornets big man PJ Washington took the ball near the basket while being guarded by KD. But with a simple-yet-effective turnaround shot, Washington got the better of Durant. After making the shot, Washington ran back while making the ‘too small’ hand gesture towards Durant.

Calling Durant ‘too small’ when he is easily one of the biggest players in the league is quite audacious. Perhaps Washington was feeling confident after getting the better of one of the best players in the league.

The Hornets ended up defeating the Nets in Brooklyn, in what was the first game Kyrie Irving played at home this season. The Nets will be hoping to move on quickly from this loss and start picking up momentum now that Kyrie Irving is eligible to play all of their remaining games.

The Nets will make a push in the Eastern Conference to at least secure the 7th seed so that they have the best chance to thrive in the playoffs. The Nets, despite being quite low in the Eastern Conference standings, are considered one of the favorites to win the Eastern Conference and reach the NBA Finals.

With Kyrie Irving eligible to play both home and away games, and with Simmons’ eventual return near the playoffs, the Nets will be very confident about their chances against any team, especially because they have one of the best players in the world in Kevin Durant on their side.
