Steve Kerr Was Disappointed With Warriors After Loss To Magic: “We Did Not Execute At All In The Fourth Quarter.”

The Golden State Warriors had a disappointing performance against the Orlando Magic today, losing 90-94. They had a 9-point lead going into the 4th quarter but ended up getting outscored by 13 in the last portion of the game.

Coach Steve Kerr was disappointed with the team after the game, claiming that they “did not execute at all in the fourth quarter. There’s no doubt that this was a disappointing outcome, especially since the Warriors seemed to be in control at the end of the 4th. An article on ESPN relayed the news.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr said things change without Curry in the lineup.

“We have to look at our lineup, we have to address everything,” Kerr said. “ … It’s like a domino effect. You saw me searching for lineups tonight. But I was really disappointed in the fourth quarter. We did not execute at all in the fourth quarter.”

Draymond Green also ended up speaking about the team after the loss, claiming that they are “not playing good basketball”. He also stated that the team is “playing soft” and “playing stupid”.

“We’re playing soft. We’re playing stupid. We’re just not playing good basketball and we’re getting punked. Hard to win the game when you’re getting punked. That’s kind of where we are right now… We’re losing a lot of fourth quarters… No disrespect to the Orlando Magic but that’s one of the worst teams in the league”

With Stephen Curry out injured currently, the Golden State Warriors clearly need to figure out a way to win without him. They have not been able to do so thus far, and have lost their last 3 games.

It remains to be seen how the Golden State Warriors do in the playoffs. They are widely viewed as contenders when fully healthy, and if they manage to get Stephen Curry back at full strength, they’ll be a force to be reckoned with.
