Trae Young is definitely one of the most exciting young stars in the league. He is a guard that can toggle between being a traditional point guard and more of a scorer. Currently, Trae Young is averaging 27.9 PPG, 3.9 RPG, and 9.5 APG.

Recently, Trae Young went off for 45 points against the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden. There’s no doubt that this was a fantastic game for Trae Young, and he managed to win an important matchup for the team as far as the play-in race is concerned.

An interesting fact regarding Trae Young’s fantastic game is that Dwyane Wade actually predicted that he’d end up getting 45 points before the game during the pre-game show on TNT.

It is clear that this was a fantastic prediction by Dwyane Wade. Trae Young led the Atlanta Hawks in total assists and total points, and it’s clear that they absolutely needed him to go off to win this game. The New York Knicks actually held a 2 point lead heading into the 4th quarter, but Trae Young ended up taking over and helping his team to a win. He also ended up trolling the Knicks fans after the game, claiming that the atmosphere wasn’t “even that loud” in MSG.

I couldn’t really hear them for real. It wasn’t even that loud, to be honest with you.

As far as the play-in tournament, the Eastern Conference play-in should be extremely competitive. As of right now, they would face the Hornets, and if they won, they’d end up facing the winner of the Toronto Raptors/ Brooklyn Nets play-in game to determine the 8th seed.

Hopefully, the Atlanta Hawks end up making the playoffs once again. They had a good run last year, but many people wrote it off as a fluke. Perhaps they’ll be able to prove the haters wrong this season.
