Russell Westbrook had a horrible night against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. The Los Angeles Lakers star has struggled to find his touch this season, earning a lot of criticism for his performances during the campaign.

Against the T-Wolves, Russ didn’t have the best game, just like the rest of the team. That opened the door for rivals to troll him, with Patrick Beverley calling him ‘trash,’ and Karl-Anthony Towns making fun of his shooting skills. In the middle of the game, he starred in an interesting moment with teammate Avery Bradley, when the former Boston Celtics and Miami Heat guard tried to restart the game.

As he turned his head in a different direction, Bradley’s inbound pass hit Westbrook in his arm, and the former MVP was shocked. Hoop Central shared a gif with this sequence and a lot of fans reacted to it, clowning Westbrook, Bradley, and the entire Lakers team.

Lebron must be playing bad because this is a BIG reach on Russ. I’ll check the stats after this tweet.

The Lakers can’t catch a break this season. They haven’t won a game where LeBron didn’t score 50 points following the All-Star Game. This team had high expectations coming into the season, but they quickly faded away due to injuries and the bad fit between LeBron James and Westbrook.

We’re entering the last weeks of competition and something must be done if the Lakers aspire to at least make it to the play-in tournament. If they keep losing games, that possibility could slip through their hands, meaning LeBron James would mean the postseason for the second time in four years with the Purple and Gold.
