LeBron James put in an incredible performance against the Warriors on Saturday night, taking over the game and scoring a whopping 56 points to lead the Lakers to a much-needed victory. In the aftermath, LeBron received praise from all quarters of the NBA world, fans and media members alike were in awe of what the King was able to do despite the funk the Lakers have been in.

However, it was seemingly all about family for LeBron after the game was over, he took his daughter Zhuri out for dinner after the game because she asked him to. And King James also reposted a story from his wife Savannah James, who called out some of the people that were saying LeBron is no longer able to carry a team while congratulating him on his incredible showing.

“Okay 6. #WashedKingWhere”

Many have predicted that LeBron would slow down with his advancing age over the last few years but on an individual level, he continues to defy age. James has been scoring at an incredible rate this season, his averages are the highest they’ve been in the last 8 or so years. While players and their families rarely respond to public criticism, they do hear it, and it’s no surprise to see Savannah clapping back at LeBron’s doubters.

James will need to keep up this incredible level of play if the Lakers are hoping to achieve anything this season, it took this Herculean effort from him to seal what turned out to eventually be an 8-point win for Los Angeles.

The Lakers find themselves 5 games behind the 8th seed Clippers and will need to go on an incredible run if they wish to get two shots at making the playoffs. The play-in tournament promises to be a difficult one but if LeBron James continues to take his game to new heights, then it will be hard to write them off just yet.
