James Harden has found his place in the world in Philadelphia. After a tumultuous tenure in Brooklyn, the talented guard landed in the City of Brotherly Love before the trade deadline, creating a terrific partner with Joel Embiid.

He has played only a handful of games with the Sixers but has quickly left his mark on the team, already showing that he can be a leader. Philadelphia is having a sweet moment right now, winning games and showing they are championship contenders.

Talking about the remaining schedule, the Beard stated that the 76ers need these games to get ready for when things get really serious (3:47).

Reporter: “Every game is important but, this is kinda the first of a tough week and there are a lot of challenging playoff positioning type opponents down the stretch. Does this kinda feel like, okay this like the stretch run that were gonna be on now?”

Harden: “Yeah, and we need this. Yeah, we need this for just our team, our togetherness and down the stretch quite frankly. What we got 20 games left before shit get real? So, we need game like this to prepare us and being down in that first half was probably a good thing, ya know? Just to see our resilience.

Harden has been a terrific addition to the Sixers and fans are really happy to see him at Wells Fargo Center. The guard has meshed perfectly with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, making the Sixers a threat to the rest of the Eastern Conference.

He’s a leader on the court, and it’s good to see he’s also trying to motivate his teammates off the court. The Sixers have serious chances of winning the championship, but the competition will be incredibly hard this season.
